Upsetting his sense of order (not to mention proper hygiene), the pigeons simply won’t let him be, and so Frank, ever more suspicious, embarks on a misguided adventure to shake his pigeon plague. Imaginative, compassionate, and darkly comedic, Robin Frohardt’s bunraku-style invention—recipient of the 2014 Arlyn Award for Outstanding Design in Puppet Theatre—considers the divide between man and nature at a time when listening to the animals may just be the thing that saves us.
