Deborah Voigt, soprano
An Afternoon with Debbie
Arguably the greatest dramatic soprano of our time, Deborah Voigt is not only revered for her roles in the operas of Wagner and Strauss, but equally well admired as one of the world’s most versatile singers. In An Afternoon with Debbie she shares music and stories from the choir loft of her childhood church, to The Carpenters’ “For All We Know” and Mancini’s “Moon River,” to the music of Richard Strauss. Immensely likeable, eternally endearing, Deborah Voigt captivates all who come into her orbit.
