The Improvised Shakespeare Company

Click here to purchase ticketsSmart, swift, and profoundly funny, The Improvised Shakespeare Company constructs an utterly original Shakespearean masterpiece right before your eyes. This deft and verbally dexterous cast of Chicagoans produces an entire play on the spot using the standard tropes and antiquated language of the period, based on one simple audience suggestion. Nothing planned, rehearsed, or written in advance, each wholly improvised show is a dazzling display of clever repartee, spontaneous soliloquies, and iambic hilarity. “A night of Elizabethan tomfoolery that’s not to be missed…in short, outstanding” (TimeOut Chicago).

Casting to be announced.
