TAIKOPROJECT celebrates twenty-five years of taiko creativity and innovation with a new concert production entitled “25.” Featuring new compositions and choreography, rarely-seen works from collaborations with KODO Distinguished Members Chieko Kojima and Ryutaro Kaneko, fresh video content, and stunning costumes by designer Sueko Oshimoto, “25” will take audiences on a thundering roller coaster of the senses.

Join Bryan Yamami Executive Director of Taikoproject for a free lecture/demonstration of Taiko drumming on Saturday, March 7th at 6 pm in the Theatre at the Williams Center for the Arts. Yamami founded TAIKOPROJECT in 2000 with the idea simply to create a modern American expression of taiko with the best next-generation taiko players.
