Dafnis Prieto Sí o Sí Quartet

Twenty-five years after arriving in New York, GRAMMY-winning and Latin GRAMMY-nominated drummer, composer, and MacArthur Fellow Dafnis Prieto remains one of the most dynamic forces in jazz and creative music. The Cuban-born artist returns with his 10th album, 3 Sides of the Coin, continuing a career that has reshaped the contemporary jazz landscape. The album marks the studio return of Prieto’s acclaimed Sí o Sí Quartet, featuring Peter Apfelbaum on woodwinds, Martin Bejerano on piano, and Ricky Rodríguez on electric bass. Together, they celebrate both Prieto’s 25 years in the United States and his 50th birthday.
